Welcome! The faculty, administration, and staff welcome you to Southern California University School of Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture (“SCUSOMA”).

This site will help you learn about the school and its’ polices and procedures. It may not contain the answers to all of your questions, but it will serve to orient each student to the available services, activities, and individual responsibilities during your time at SCUSOMA.

Statements in this site is applicable only to the current academic year. Students entering SCUSOMA should familiarize themselves with the information, requirements, and descriptions provided in this site.

While every effort is made to keep the student body informed of any changes, the policies, procedures, academic and non-academic requirements, and fees of SCUSOMA are subject to change without advance notice.

The information contained in this site is accurate at the time of printing, but may change as deemed appropriate by the requirements of state boards, federal or state governing bodies, or other regulatory agencies.

These changes may also be implemented without prior notice or obligation. Additionally, unless specified otherwise, the changes are effective when made.

Changes will be communicated to the students via bulletin board posts or written notices, on-campus publications, verbal announcements at school assemblies, or registration information packets distributed at the beginning of each quarter.

It is the responsibility of students of SCUSOMA to be well acquainted with the rules, regulations, requirements, and responsibilities provided in this handbook, as well as various updates posted throughout the year.
