It all started 70 years ago….. Namesake Jerry Rapport opened his business in a 15 ft store front with minimal inventory on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles in 1946.
Rapport has been an industry leader, with Jerry Rapport lovingly referred to as “The Godfather” of contemporary furniture. Steen & Peter Skaaning, both veteran cabinetmakers from Denmark, met Jerry Rapport in the early 90s when they covered the West Coast of California as manufacturer’s reps.
The last 10 years has really gone fast and cemented us as a “Go-to Source” for contemporary furniture in all price ranges, says Peter Skaaning.
In addition to being the exclusive distributor of Natuzzi Italia, the Skaaning Brothers proudly boast of their newest exclusive collaborative effort with the Formitalia Luxury Group, one of the leading Italian manufacturers of designer furniture that works with iconic luxury automotive brands such as Tonino Lamborghini Casa, Aston Martin Interiors and Mercedes Benz Style.
This exclusive furniture line is now featured at the Rapport Flagship Showroom in Los Angeles, as well as the INspiration Furniture showroom in Vancouver BC.
